Since 2014 I have been volunteering with The UK Women in Comedy Festival in Manchester. I’ve been their researcher in residence during this time, but I’ve also been helping out in other ways too. I’ve flyered the public, stacked chairs, collected glasses and in 2014 provided shelter for a comedian who’s sketch group had miscalculated hotel room capacity. Fun.Times.
This page exists because I designed the Festival’s logo and have created the posters, flyers and (the most complicated of all tasks) the brochure since 2014 and need somewhere I can archive that work so people can see it.
Crucially (and quite evidently) I am not a graphic designer, just an enthusiastic amateur with a grasp of design software – a prolific doodler with a love for Adobe Shape.
